Allah"s Appostle PBUH dua was accepted in such a manner that I got bricks of gold which I use to cut with an axe which is used to cut trees and my house was full of so many dirhams and dinars that a person could easily hide behind it.
A dervish and Fi-Sabeel Lillah: A dervish used to spend money for his needs and whatever left, he graciously spend in the name of Allah/ or gave Sadqa immediately; when he got empty handed, Allah fills his pocket but nowadays we keep the money safe just because our hearts are inclined towards money.
Strange example of Barkat in earning: A dervish [Damat Barkhatum] in his lecture says we should understand that the solutions of our problems lie with barkat in money, barkat in earning., barkat in time, barkat in knowledge and barkat in life. Whatever is blessed by Allah becomes more than you need. A dervish’s son inquired his father the meaning of the term ‘barkat’; we have heard a lot of barkat but what it actually is?” The dervish said come here and he showed him the burner. He said this is barkat... The person was amazed that how is it barkat? The father said you are of 20 years and I installed this burner before you were born. It is the blessing of earning that things are fine. We forget to go to doctors; do not even suffer through headaches. That is blessings of earning.
Barkat is the lives of Islaaf: The lives of our fore fathers were a true example of blessings; they had enough with two rupee - the third one they get as a scholarship. They gave charity to Madrassah. Nowadays we have opened our mouths like the fish of Hazrat Sulaiman [RA] and demand more, more….
Blessings in the earningof Sahaba Karaam: The earning of Sahaba's was blessed; they used to roam around in Madina for whole day just to find the needy one for zakat but could not find any. ALLAH had bestowed so much barkat in their earning that there were in the habit of giving instead of asking/taking.
Blessing In earning and children of Hazrat Anas: Hazrat Anas narrates that Hazrat Muhammad PBUH prayed for me that Allah bless you with children and earning and His prayer was fulfilled in a way that "I had bricks of gold and I use to cut it with the axe which is used to cut trees." He says he was blessed in a way that his house was full of dirhams and dinars that one could easily hide behind it and he was so blessed in terms of children that he had more than hundred grandsons and granddaughters in his life.
How to get blessed? The question arises in mind... Allah says "if the inhabitants of this town follow me and accept piety then I will open the doors of blessings for them"
Now the knob of this door is in our hands we can open it by following the right path of piety or let it be closed by not following it. We complain for not getting things but never realize that we have stopped blessings to come in our way with our sins.
